Meet Micah
This blog is part two of a series of blogs aimed at taking an in-depth look at each of our kids. We decided to put together some questions, some funny and some serious, that would give you a special insight to our children. Last weeks blog looked at Bella, if you missed that one just click here. Next up is Micah, also known as Micah-Man or Bubba to Jaxon. I first met Micah when he was two years old, about to turn three. He’s always been imaginative and inquisitive. He’s definitely the jokester of our kids, always eager to tell a new joke or a funny story to lighten the mood. He is very even tempered and doesn’t like conflict. As I write this I am sitting at Triad Park in Kernersville, where I met Micah’s mom (it’s his week with her) and am watching as Micah, Bella, Jaxon, and Wilson (Micah’s half-brother) are all playing together. I start to think about the fact that none of these children are 100% related, they are either half or stepsiblings. Although they don’t share exactly the same blood lines their hearts are as connected as any siblings. I can only pray that they will always be this close.
