Ice Cream Daydream Session Event
On July 22nd and 23rd we will be having our Ice Cream Daydream session event. As always we poured our heart and soul into creating the best setup possible with no detail left out. We really wanted to create something straight from the imagination of a child. Our vision was to have our very own little outdoor ice cream shop complete with a table and chair for “customers” to sit in, this was a very tall task to bring this vision to life. Kyle started a few weeks ago building our Ice Cream stand, he included some clips of building/painting the stand on our weekly vlog that you can watch HERE. This was also the perfect opportunity for me to really put my Cricut to use. Going into night owl mode I was able to make a banner, create the vinyl to complete the stand, and make t-shirts for each of our kids to wear (for a closer look at this be on the lookout for our next vlog, to subscribe to our youtube channel and keep from missing any future videos click HERE).
In an effort to show you exactly what you would be getting from this session we wanted to do a preview as close to what it would look like on the day of. This is where things got a little hectic. Now some people may say that we’re always late but me and Kyle prefer to think of ourselves as “time optimists”. Now in this case our time optimism got the best of us as we had set out to photograph the preview in the evening but did not make it in time as it had gotten too dark. Being the perfectionist that I am I had my mind set on seeing the finished product so we set it up completely in my carport at midnight. Because of time constraints this caused us to set out early the next morning to transport everything to my Aunt's house ( she has the most beautiful well manicured lawn that fit perfect with my vision) all while negotiating cooperation out of our kids with the promise of ice cream. As hectic as it was the preview turned out perfectly (besides my husband dropping the cookies I had spent forever decorating to look like little ice cream cones). I hope you enjoy some of the images from our preview and I hope you decide to bring your family out and let me capture some memories for you. You can receive this session and all of your edited digital images for only $60, but if you sign up for email list below you can get this session for only $50.
