Washington D.C. + Stranger Things
I was so excited to be able to visit Washington D.C last weekend for the March for Life. It was so awe inspiring to witness and join over half a million people come together for something they believe in. I felt so honored to document this event through the lens of my camera. I loved being able to photograph all the signs and I hope the love and compassion shines through in the images I captured.
This was the first time I’ve been to Washington D.C. since I was in the 9th grade. It was so amazing to see our Nation’s Capital with the historic buildings that have held such important events, where decisions that have shaped our nation have been made. As amazing at it was to take in all of these sights, it was equally annoying to hear all of the horn blowing. I don’t know if you’ve been to DC lately, but there was literally a car blowing the horn at another car every 5 seconds (no I’m not exaggerating).
On our way back home we made a not so slight detour to Virginia Beach to see our good friends Josh and Blair Tucker. Just to get something off of our chest, we really just wanted to see their 6 month old son, Bowen. But we did introduce them to the best show on Netflix, which of course is Stranger Things, so we’ll call it even.
